Featured on Bosch Solution 64 and Solution 16plus, Bosch Graphic User Interface Technology delivers the most comprehensive displays available! The large back lit LCD display uses pixel technology from Bosch to graphically display all system conditions at a glance. Programmable features and options are displayed using simple text menus, allowing the system to be programmed and configured, practically without referring to the manual. At all times the user and installer are prompted in plain English text, clearly identifying the current operating mode and enhancing feedback for trouble free and simple operation.

An enhanced version of the Graphic Code Pad incorporates a built-in proximity reader allowing users to simply present their token to the Code Pad to arm/disarm and or unlock a door. Children and the elderly will find this feature extremely easy to use as no PIN codes are required for operation. A maximum of 8 Code Pads in any combination (proximity enabled or not) are available per system. Solution 64 and Solution 16plus panels may be fully programmed using the graphic interface or using a PC loaded with Solution Link software. Built on SQL database technology, the Windows based Solution Link software offers single and multi-user operation, with the ability to control the functions each operator can perform via programmable authority levels.

TEXT ICON USER INTERFACE TECHNOLOGY
 
Using fixed text and easy-to-recognise icons, the Solution 16i code pad takes proven Bosch LCD icon technology to a new level. System status can be determined at a glance during operation, with menu locations and parameter information clearly displayed during programming. No longer are technicians left to determine parameters by interpretation of icons. No longer will you be left wondering exactly which memory location you are looking at.

The Solution 16 control panel provides sixteen programmable hard wired zones across. Remote programming using Alarm link software provides added convenience and capability. With four areas and three arming modes the Solution 16 control panel is a flexible system ideal for domestic and small commercial installations. The system supports up to 32 users.

For the installer the Solution 16 provides a robust trouble free platform to ensure quality installations, with a choice of different EOL resistor values allowing the control panel to be easily retrofitted into an existing installation.

Post installation the Solution 16 sensor watch feature monitors the activity of the devices connected to the control panel, ensuring devices remain serviceable and that system integrity is maintained.

Solution 880 Ultima

The Solution 880 Ultima control panel provides eight programmable hard-wired or wireless zones. The Solution 880 control panel provides eight wired only zones. Remote programming using Alarm link software provides added convenience and capability.

The Solution 880 Ultima is compatible with Bosch Wireless (DSRF) technology.

To operate, all it takes is “one touch”. By simply holding the #AWAY key you can arm your system in Away mode. To disarm simply enter your 4 digit code. Code pads can be installed at entry points for your convenience or you can control your system using wireless remotes, which attach to your keyring.

The Solution 844 allows you to choose from either a LED or LCD ICON code pad. Simple ICONS or indicators make it easy to identify the status of your system at all times. The Solution 844 has 4 programmable zones and 4 fixed zones, which can be used to monitor for intrusion, fire, system tamper events or panic buttons. Night Arm Stations can be added to the Solution 844 unit providing added security and protection from the convenience of your bedside. You can arm and disarm the system at the touch of a button and it also has an easy to operate
built in panic function.

These high security motion detectors feature sensor data fusion technology, which enables data comparison from all the detector’s sensors to significantly reduce false alarms. The detectors feature up to five different sensors within each unit as well as a highly sophisticated microprocessor that gathers data from each sensor
and, via a proprietary algorithm, determines whether an alarm is necessary or not. Tri-focus optics technology includes three separate lenses with specific focal lengths for long-range, medium-range and short-range coverage, eliminating the need to adjust the lenses at different mounting heights and providing wall to wall coverage with no gaps.

The two pyroelectric sensors are used for long-range coverage and mid to short-range coverage, respectively, doubling the resolution and signal strength of the detector for improved sensitivity and catch performance, while reducing false alarms.

Audio glass break detectors are designed to listen for the sounds that occur when a window is broken. There are distinct sounds that are created when glass breaks. In our glass break detectors, Microprocessor - Based Sound Analysis Technology (SAT) analyses audio signals to determine the frequency, signature and timing relationships of the sound. If these determining factors meet the specific qualities of glass breaking, then the detector goes into alarm.

Photoelectric beam detectors consist of a separate transmitter and receiver. The transmitter emits one invisible infrared beam to the receiver. If the beam is broken, the receiver signals an alarm.

Request to Exit (REX) Sensors are an essential tool in any access control system. They work as a door release when someone is trying to exit a secured or locked door. The REX sensor detects the person walking towards the door and unlocks it so that they may exit.

Safe / Vault and ATM sensors detect frequencies associated with several different types of attacks. These sensors are designed to detect drills, grinders, hammers, chisels and cutting torches which are commonly used in attacks on safes, vaults and ATM’s.

They employ 3 distinct detection systems:

• a threshold sensor for high amplitude / short duration attacks such as explosives
• a counting channel to detect multiple low amplitude signals such as hammer strikes

Magnetic contacts are the first line of defence in the burglar alarm industry. They are inexpensive, very reliable, and in most cases out of sight. While PIR’s and other interior detectors are an excellent back up, it is the contact that immediately triggers the alarm system when the door or window is open. Contacts should be used on all entry points because a PIR will pick up the intruder after they are inside.
